AS a national recruiter, keep an open mind. In the industry I work in, I place a lot of diesel mechanics. These guys and gals often aren't the best resume writers. They are ROCKSTARS, WIZARDS, and MAGICIANS when it comes to FIXING diesel Equipment! READ BETWEEN THE LINES, KNOW industry trends and the highs and lows in specific industries that could have had massive layoffs in a region or across the US. Some of my best candidates have had the poorest resumes with work history that looks like they are jumping from job to job... Just mastering hiring trends in the industry you're in and knowing about how that industry hires will have you seeing candidates in a different light... THERES A HOME FOR EVERYONE!! Remember that :-)
