Amari is a recent graduate of Tufts University who cultivated her desire of uplifting and exploring Black narratives through her Black Diasporic Literary Studies major. While at Tufts, she reinforced her commitment to civic engagement and the power of storytelling to create change through her involvement in the university's Tisch Scholar program. Amari believes deeply that the "struggle for survival and liberation" for all oppressed people of the world will only be realized when Black women are free.
