We are proud to announce a $700 million recapitalization of the AION 12 Portfolio in partnership with Vintage Strategies at Goldman Sachs Alternatives and a global institutional investor. This recapitalization spans 3,962 apartment units across 12 workforce housing properties in the Mid-Atlantic region. AION has also formed a strategic joint venture targeting $1 billion in value-add multifamily acquisitions with plans to expand by 4,000-6,000 units backed by a $300 million equity commitment. Please join us in congratulating Jessica Hoover on her promotion to Area Vice President! Jessica has been working with the AION Management team for almost 3 years and has been an invaluable part of our success in her region. She joined us in early 2022 and was promoted to a Senior Regional role later that year. Her region has taken the lead in working with Real Page and other groups to beta test new ideas and products and she has developed strong team members at each of her assets. AION Management is pleased to enthusiastically recognize Julianny Rivera for her exceptional contributions at The Woodlands! Since joining in August 2022, Julianny has demonstrated outstanding leadership and strategic insight, tackling significant challenges such as low occupancy, aging property conditions, and high delinquency. Through her proactive approach and tenant engagement, she reduced delinquency 85%, while raising occupancy to a stable 95% average at the higher market rates than years prior. Julianny also led a successful renovation program and crucial infrastructure upgrades, greatly enhancing the property's overall performance. Julianny's resourcefulness and dedication have been key to the property's turnaround. She and her team worked tirelessly on in-house projects to cut costs and improve operations, resulting in financial stability and a rising Google rating from 1.8 to 2.2 which is no easy task. Her leadership and commitment to excellence embodies AION Core Values and is a true asset to our company.
