Next week we will be at the 21st EuroXR International Conference - EuroXR 2024 in Athens. With other ERASMUS+ projects, Alliance4XR will be participating in a special session entitled ‘Transforming Learning Experiences: Integrating Extended Reality and Digital Twins in Education and Training’. The session will feature presentations on the latest advancements in VR, AR, and MR, and showcase innovative applications of digital twins. Attendees will learn from case studies and pilot projects across Europe, gaining insights into the benefits and challenges of XR technologies in enhancing learning outcomes. The session will also offer networking opportunities, interactive workshops, and panel discussions on curriculum design, teacher training, and ethical considerations, while providing updates on EU initiatives and funding for XR in education. 🌟 Alliance4XR Event: Collaboration Driving XR Innovation 🌟 Yesterday, professionals from education, research, and industry gathered for the Alliance4XR event to discuss critical challenges in the adoption of XR, AR, and MR technologies. Using Miro as a collaborative tool, participants worked in breakout groups to explore solutions to key issues such as high costs, standardization gaps, and the scaling of pilot projects. This event highlighted the importance of cross-sector dialogue and knowledge sharing, enabling attendees to prioritize actionable steps for wider XR implementation.
