Delft, the Netherlands was the location where AGR's Dr. Brandon Aldinger recently conducted our "Testing and Fracture Diagnosis of Pharmaceutical Glassware" Training Seminar at our Delft testing laboratory. Participants were introduced to techniques for the evaluation of flaw severity as well as how to distinguish between functional and cosmetic defects. Do you need to develop an understanding of the characteristics of glass as a packaging material? AGR offers a range of open enrollment or private in-person seminars, as well as online training covering glass technology and packaging. Topics include fracture diagnosis, defect identification, container design and lightweighting, stone analysis, cord and annealing, batch & furnace operations, and coatings. Our seminars are ideal for personnel from glass manufacturing facilities, glass users from the food and beverage industries, and glass users from the pharmaceutical industry. Seminars incorporate a combination of classroom instruction, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops for maximum retention.
