Ames team members are spreading holiday cheer to kids in the Greater Denver region! ’Tis the season to spread hope and joy! Salt Lake City’s Festival of Trees is a magical event supporting Intermountain Health Primary Children’s Hospital. Each of the event’s 550 trees was donated by the family of a child treated at the hospital. Ames Construction purchased three of the beautifully decorated trees.   The fundraiser helps the hospital provide care for children in need and build the nation’s model health system for children. In the spirit of the season, employees in Ames’ southeast region collected more than 1,100 toys for children in Mecklenburg and Randolph counties. This is the region’s third year donating toys for the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. Collection boxes were placed at Ames’ southeast project sites and its regional office. Thanks to donations from Ames’ employees and subcontractors, kids in need will wake up to fun toys under their trees this year. Congratulations to the Tonto Creek Bridge project team in Arizona! The bridge earned the #9 spot on the Top 10 Bridges list for 2024 from Roads & Bridges magazine. The project constructed a 1,980-foot-long, 40-foot-wide, precast concrete girder bridge in Gila County, Arizona. The bridge provides a safe crossing for residents when the creek floods.
