Brindavani M., Vice President of Interconnection and Transmission, spoke on a panel titled Interstellar Pathways: Unlocking Transmission, where she shared valuable insights on identifying areas with the greatest transmission needs to drive development. Arevon is excited to announce that our award-winning Vikings Solar-plus-Storage Project is now operational and producing #cleanenergy for California communities! ⚡🎉    Located in Imperial County, Vikings’ modern 1:1 configuration includes 157 megawatts (MWdc) of #solar coupled with 150 MW/600 megawatt hours of #energystorage. Its solar and storage technologies provide reliable and affordable energy during peak periods, a key solution for lowering costs and balancing California’s electricity demand challenges. Additionally, the project helps bolster our made-in-America supply chain, with products from key U.S. manufacturers, including: Megapack #batteryenergystoragesystems manufactured by Tesla Energy, First Solar thin film #photovoltaic #solarpanels, and Nextracker Inc. smart #solartrackers. ☀ 🔋 The ribbon-cutting event, which was held yesterday on the project site near Holtville, celebrated the collaborative efforts of the Arevon team and the project’s stakeholders to bring Vikings into operations and also acknowledged the community support to further California’s #sustainabilitygoals.
