We are thrilled to announce that the Arizona Trail Association is joining a groundbreaking nationwide initiative—Earth Gives Day! 🌎 ✨This unique giving day provides a streamlined platform where you can discover, support, and amplify the work of environmental and climate organizations like ours. Earth Gives Day was created to address a critical gap: less than 2% of all charitable donations currently go to environmental and climate causes. This isn’t enough to drive the impactful change our planet desperately needs. By participating, you help shift more focus onto these vital issues, supporting both our mission and those of our dedicated colleagues in the climate and environmental sector. Here’s how you can make a difference: 1. Donate: Visit https://lnkd.in/gjHRj3KG to make your contribution. 2. Share: Use the quick share button when you give to spread the word to your network. Prefer not to use social media? Text or email the URL to your friends and family. 3. Alternative Contributions: If you prefer to donate by check or Donor Advised Fund, please make it out to Arizona Trail Association and send it to us to be received by September 26 so we can manually add it to our total. Your support could help us earn additional prize dollars for our organization.

The Arizona Trail Association Seeds of Stewardship program in Flagstaff provides *free* supplemental environmental education to local schools. Last week, Puente’s fourth-grade class created a map of the north side of campus, where the outdoor classroom will be, and designed what it might look like. The fifth-graders then learned about trail-building from Showalter, Sprague and Arizona Trail Association field coordinator for northern Arizona Heidi Larson, and completed the fourth-grade's loop trail design over the next three days.
