On the future battlefield the U.S. Army will never fight alone, and the integration of forces is a key component of dominating the future fight. Project Convergence Capstone 5 (PC-C5), an Army hosted joint and multination, two-phase, “in-the-dirt” experiment, will integrate with the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps, Space Force, and military partners from the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, France and Japan in early 2025. Stay tuned for more updates as they come and get ready to #ForgeTheFuture. Augmented reality for Soldiers is here, and it is game changing… Imagine stepping into the field and having all the intel you need right in your line of sight—that’s the game-changer the Integrated Visual Augmentation System, or IVAS, is bringing to our Soldiers. We’re talking about real-time data, targeting info, and augmented reality overlays that make situational awareness faster, smarter, and way more intuitive. Our teams at AFC are taking on the challenges of developing this tech to not just enhance vision but to empower every move Soldiers make on the ground. IVAS isn’t about fancy gadgets; it’s about real solutions for real-world needs. Our team is working closely with Soldiers and industry to ensure this tech is rugged, reliable, and effective. It’s a true team effort, and there’s still more work ahead, but the strides we’re seeing are incredible. For those curious about the capabilities IVAS can bring and the continuous improvement of the device, here’s a good read https://lnkd.in/guwgXivi. Looking forward to the future of Soldier-ready tech! -BAH

Army Futures Command reposted this
Great event at Fort Liberty NC with the Future MEDEVAC Cabin Technical Demonstrator Special User Evaluation (SUE) the past two weeks. Ground medics from the 1st Brigade Combat Team and Paramedics from the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, U.S. Army conducted hands-on medical training and provided valuable feedback that the US Army will use to inform the medical interior for the MEDEVAC version of the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA). Maj. Gen. Anthony McQueen, the Deputy Army Surgeon General, was on hand to see the innovative transportable patient handling system and speak to some of the combat medics about their experience during the SUE. The increased speed and range of the #FLRAA MEDEVAC variant will allow #USArmy medical professionals to provide our #warfighters the best medical care in the world. #ContinuousTransformation #MEDEVAC Army Futures Command I PEO Aviation I U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence I U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command I U.S. Army DEVCOM Aviation & Missile Center I U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) I The Dustoff Association I MEDCoE (US Army Medical Center of Excellence)

Throughout November, we celebrate National Native American Indian Heritage Month, honoring American Indians and Alaska Natives for the contributions of our Soldiers, Veterans, Civilians and family members. This year we celebrate “affirming native voices: visibility, leadership, and service,” recognizing service during peace and war. Recently, the U.S. Army DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory hosted research experiences for tribal undergraduate students. The students participated in the ARL program and high school and came back for more STEM opportunities. https://lnkd.in/edtHa4yc #ForgeTheFuture | #TomorrowIsWorthProtecting
