Arts for LA helps communities throughout Los Angeles County advocate for greater investment in arts, culture, & arts education. Our mission is to foster a healthy environment in which arts and culture in the region may thrive and be accessible to all in Los Angeles. Today, Arts for LA reaches more than 40,000 residents of Los Angeles County and beyond. Our work empowers residents of the region to work with elected officials, arts leaders, and other community leaders to ensure a healthy, vibrant, and prosperous Los Angeles County for everyone.

  • 🎉 We're thrilled to introduce you to the newest members of our Creative Jobs Collective Impact Initiative (CJCII) Steering Committee: Jacob Jackson and Xochitl Torres! 🎈 Jacob is the Youth Outreach Coordinator for Youth Justice Coalition & a member of the Heart of Youth Justice Reimagined Work Group. Born into the foster care system, he strives to create a system that is rooted in "care first, harm last" by reimagining how the County can divest from punitive systems and invest in resources that support diverse communities. He believes in building soul-utions that move us towards a future where youth not just survive, but thrive. 🎈 Xochitl is the Program Director for the High Road Training Partnership at the BRIC Foundation. An alumna of the Warner Bros.
