Your customers might be your best sales reps (sorry, sales teams). But only if you give them a reason to sell on your behalf. Anis Bennaceur from Attention unlocks the power of “customer love” by turning (great) user experiences into a systematic, word-of-mouth engine. It’s a pretty big departure from the usual “cross-your-fingers-and-pray” most B2B businesses rely on. Of course, no one wakes up thinking, “I can’t wait to promote my favorite B2B software today!” So you need to engineer the moments that spark organic promotion. Anis leans on three core tactics: VIP Preview: Give your top customers access to new features early. They feel valued, and they spread the word. Contests with Real Rewards: Incentivize word-of-mouth by turning social shoutouts into friendly competitions. Even small participation can skyrocket engagement. Smart Referrals: Build “social graphs” to help users identify the best potential leads in their network, and make the warm intro a no-brainer. Want to know how to do this for your business? You can get the full Anis playbook in this week’s AskCMO newsletter. Read it now 👉 askcmo.co/subscribe

Global Sales Enablement Manager | Onboarding, Coaching, GTM Alignment | I help global SaaS scale ups grow without burning and churning their sales reps

It's rare I fan-boy over software but I just started using Attention - and holy moly it's slick. - Really great call summaries - Super easy to use call and deal insights - Solid coaching features - Hyper accurate CRM mapping and email follow ups Rory McDermott has been incredibly responsive from first engagement (all while stepping into his first AE role - go Rory!). The thing which I have appreciated most of all is that Rory as an AE is actually in there doing 90% of the set up for us in a customer success role, which I think is proof that it's built for Sales people. Software being as easy to use as promised is rare but in this case it's actually true.

Pipeline generation that actually results in net new ARR | #1 Clay Expert in Belgium & Portugal

How do you figure out which outbound emails to scale? (without blasting 1000s of emails and seeing which ones get the most responses) Anis Bennaceur highly believes in doing things that don't scale. How does it work when you join the team at Attention? You'll write manual emails to figure out what works and then scale that. And trust me, they do have some epic automations running. More on that in the full episode. Now available on YouTube and Spotify. 🎙️ Spotify: https://lnkd.in/eUmvTm3S 📽️ YouTube: https://lnkd.in/eSzseVPV p.s. how do you ensure you maintain quality when scaling outbound emails?

80h+ work weeks. 100% in-office teams. Homegrown exec teams. Very very lean headcount. Shooting for $1tn+. Unicorns are dead. That's exactly what Brian Halligan, co-founder of Hubspot posted last week. And that's how we've been at Attention since day one. So I want to give a massive shoutout to Jacob Fleisher, our founding AE turned head of sales, for not only crushing our Q4 team sales quota by 140% vs. plan. But also for making sure that all our reps are over 100% of their aggressive quotas. For embodying and growing the grind culture that Matthias & I have been dreaming of since we started the business. For having the most incredible slope one can think of. And for always getting his hands dirty. ps. We're hiring for the best BDRs, AEs, AMs, and GTMEs living in NYC or looking to move here. ps2. Yes, that is a photo of Jacob walking up to Jake Paul for a selfie in a restaurant (and telling him about Attention)!

One API for all your meeting integrations | Co-founder at Recall.ai

Attention 10x’d from from mid-6 to mid-7 figure ARR in a year. Here’s how they did it: 1/ Solve your own problem Anis Bennaceur and Matthias Wickenburg, the co-founders of Attention, both had experienced the pain of keeping Salesforce updated at their previous startups. That’s why they built Attention - originally a tool that automatically updates CRMs after calls. Today, they’ve expanded the feature set massively, from drafting follow-up emails, to real-time coaching. But first, they started by solving their own problem. 2/ Have the right timing Attention was founded in 2021, right as LLM performance started to take-off. This was perfect timing in terms of market entrance. Production ready LLMs meant sophisticated AI software was possible. Attention had all the tools in place to build a modern, AI-first replacement for a antiquated industry. 3/ Build differentiators in-house, use vendors to build commodity features Attention knew they had to move fast to keep up with the pace of innovation in the AI space. To do this, they focused all their time on building out their differentiating features, while using vendors for commoditized parts of their stack, such as the sales call recording and transcription features. They effectively delegated their time to figure out what was needed to built vs bought. It wasn’t about cutting corners. It was about scaling smarter. —----—---- At Recall.ai , we’re honored to be powering Attention’s sales call recording feature. Time is your most valuable resource. If you’re starting a company, pick a problem you already know deeply, understand the “why now?” and execute as fast as possible. 🚀

I see this all the time: pipeline reviews done the wrong way. Everyone’s got a different definition of what a champion is, what an exec sponsor is, how to quantify the pain, or the cost of sticking with the status quo. Activity touch points can be a decent proxy, but trust me, they’re nowhere near enough. It was mind-blowing that no one had really nailed this in a post-LLM world. So last year, we launched our Automated Deal Inspection that looks at all of your touch points - all the words from calls, emails, everything - and using the voice of your customer. It’s not just an AMA on your deals; it’s basically a “sales doctor” that scans the health of your entire pipeline, leveraging AI. It flags every risk and opportunity in an intelligent, fully customizable way - tailored to your org’s framework and what actually matters to you. Say hello to a new intelligent way of understanding your pipeline and forecasting. ps. We’ve been quietly shipping a ton of new stuff over the past year, and there’s a lot more on the way. Stay tuned. We’re just getting started :)

🚨 We’re hiring our founding Customer Success Manager! 🚨 We’re looking for our founding CSM (and probably future head of CS) to join our team, based in NYC! Over at Attention, we 10x’d from mid-6 to mid-7 figure ARR in a year, and now need help super-serving our growing customer-base. The role will be reporting to me, and working directly with the founders and with our head of sales to create this function from scratch, leveraging a mix of best practices and going to first principles in an AI-native world. This will also include building internally a sub-function of AI CSM agents… how exciting! The founding roles are the fastest accelerator from being an IC to running the function - just ask Jacob Fleisher how it went for him. In addition to prior experience in the role, we’re looking for someone who’s good with workflow automation - and has used products like Zapier/Make/n8n/Clay. Knowing how to code is a nice-to-have. Like for every other role at Attention, we’re optimizing for slope over intercept. If you want to join a rocketship, learn amongst a bunch of brilliant people, and personally grow fast, definitely send me a note or apply on our careers page! ps. Please tag the best 3 CSMs you’ve ever worked with or that you know, in the comments (or send this their way). Feel free to repost to amplify this and you’ll have my forever gratitude! #hiring #ai #customersuccess #CSM #sales
