  • 🚨 Event Recap: BTAA Professional Development Day – Procurement Contracting Tips & Trends 🚨   A huge thank you to Lynn Magill from the University of Washington for sharing her invaluable expertise on procurement contracting trends and tips with our Big Ten Academic Alliance community! 👏 Your insights into higher education procurement sparked great conversations, and we’re grateful for the knowledge shared. It’s moments like these that truly highlight the power of connecting with industry peers. We’re so thankful to everyone who joined us for this BTAA Professional Development Day webinar and brought their thoughtful questions! 🙌 🔑 Key Takeaways: *Adapting to Change: Lynn discussed the evolving contracting trends, with a focus on the growing emphasis on diversity and accessibility. *AI in Procurement: A deep dive into AI’s impact on procurement and its role in risk management. *Supplier Streamlining: How the University of Washington is transforming its supplier onboarding process for better efficiency. Lynn’s expert perspective on the integration of AI in procurement was especially compelling: “We’ve always had [a] key opportunity to be advisors and stakeholders. There’s no replacement for the things we learn in these trainings, and there’s no replacement for risk analytics and translation.” Thank you to all who attended and made this event such a success. We’re already looking forward to the next session! 💼 #BTAA #ProcurementExcellence #HigherEdProcurement #ContractingTrends #AIinProcurement #SupplierManagement #ProfessionalDevelopment #RiskManagement
