Our Quality Manager, Jennifer Guarnuccio, recently made a visit to our friends at Real IPM Kenya! Jennifer's visit provided a great opportunity to share project insights, visit growers, and build better working relationships. Pictured left to right is Nahashon, Jennifer, Kennedy, and Susan. "I loved meeting the Real IPM team and observing how close-knit they are, having lunch and tea together as a group. Their work culture is very similar to ours, characterized by powerful teamwork and a strong work ethic." says Jennifer. Real IPM, part of BioWorks Division, manufactures and supplies biopesticides, biofertilizers, and predatory mites to growers throughout Africa. #bioworks #realIPM #biofirst #Teamwork #innovation

These roots were captured by a greenhouse grower using rockwool inoculated with RootShield®𝘗𝘓𝘜𝘚⁺ WP to keep his peppers safe from Fusarium. The best part? He took the time to share his 3 Keys to Pre-Plant Success: 1. Early Treatment Make sure plugs are treated early. This allows young plant roots to be protected as early as possible, ensuring no pathogens can establish. Not a propagator? Just ask your supplier to treat plugs with RootShield 𝘗𝘓𝘜𝘚⁺ WP before shipment. 2. Pre-Plant Saturation of Rockwool Slabs Before planting, saturate the Rockwool slabs completely with RootShield 𝘗𝘓𝘜𝘚⁺ WP solution. Ensure the plastic covering the slabs remains intact to allow the solution to thoroughly infiltrate the slabs. 3. Post-Plant Drainage Shortly after planting, cut drainage holes in the plastic around the slabs to allow excess water to drain. This timing is critical, as applying RootShield 𝘗𝘓𝘜𝘚⁺ WP after planting makes it harder to evenly distribute Trichoderma due to water cone formation under drippers.
