Giving Tuesday is 1 week away! Manny represents the thousands of Bottom Line students dreaming of becoming the first in their families to graduate college. With a little extra support – like guidance on picking the right schools, writing applications, and securing financial aid – students like Manny can take big steps toward their college goals. Our goal is to raise $30,000 by December 3rd, with $10,000 helping Manny create his college list! Together, we can make college possible for students who need it most. Donate today and make a lasting impact: https://lnkd.in/eFWDpPg9 Let’s open doors to success for students like Manny! #GivingTuesday
About us
Students are at the core of Bottom Line. Every day, we are energized by their drive, potential, and passion. We know that the success of our students will create a ripple effect in our communities. Bottom Line is bridging the divide of educational inequity by providing a trusted advisor and the social capital necessary for our students to earn their bachelor’s degree, build financial stability, and successfully launch thriving careers. We primarily focus on students of color who will be in the first generation of their family to earn a college degree, are from low-income backgrounds, and are academically prepared for college. For more than two decades, Bottom Line has been fighting for educational equity by ensuring that the right to a quality college education is accessible to those whose potential and drive exceed their opportunity. For first-generation degree-aspiring students from low-income backgrounds who face systemic barriers, Bottom Line’s advisors are a relentless ally who partner with them to find the right college, persist to a degree, and successfully launch a career. As one of the first college support organizations to focus on college completion, Bottom Line now produces best-in-class college graduation rates that reduce the significant gap between first-generation students from low-income backgrounds and their wealthier peers. We operate regional programs in Massachusetts, New York City, and Chicago that collectively serve over 7,000 students.

After much internal debate, I am ecstatic to announce my commitment to the Bottom Line 2025 Boston Marathon Team! 🏃♂️🔥 Bottom Line partners with degree-aspiring students of color from under-resourced communities to get into and through college and successfully launch a career. The College Access initiative has been a passion of mine since my time at Villanova. I have volunteered with Bottom Line since 2019 and I am excited to take another big step in spreading awareness of this great organization. 📙📘 Please visit the link below if you are interested in contributing to my fundraising efforts. Together we can ensure our students Get In, Graduate, and Go Far! 👏 Thank you for your support! #graphicdesignismypassion #bostonmarathon #nonprofit #runningforacause #marathon #giveback https://lnkd.in/ebCYfq6v

We hope the new administration taking office will show some care and attention to education policies that help our students go far in life. But history has shown that we can't simply wait for our government to make moves. There's a lot we can do now as a community to support our students who are eager to transition to the workforce and bring incredible determination, ambition, and fresh perspective with them. As they prepare to launch their careers, mentorship can be the key that helps them unlock new opportunities and build on their strengths. Join us by becoming a Go Far Volunteer and provide career mentorship to help first-gen students build professional networks, gain confidence, and prepare for life after college. By becoming part of our dedicated network of allies, you can help ensure their success in college and beyond. Go far with us today and volunteer: https://lnkd.in/exNibzF4

Earlier this month, Bottom Line partnered with Federal Student Aid an Office of the U.S. Department of Education (FSA) to participate in the FAFSA beta testing program - a key step in ensuring the new form is more user-friendly and free of last year's challenges. Nearly 100 of our students got early access to the FAFSA, allowing FSA to observe real-time interactions and tackle any issues before the official launch. Recently, we learned that the FASFA will open sooner than the anticipated 12/1 release date, and we'd like to think that all the dedicated organizations, schools, and students participating in beta testing are a large reason for this accelerated timeline. We're proud to play a part in making the FAFSA a smoother process for students nationwide and grateful to our incredible teams, students, and families for their part in this important collaboration.

Bottom Line’s mission resonates with me on a personal level, and at Enterprise Mobility, we are committed to strengthening our communities—one neighborhood at a time. Through the Enterprise Mobility Foundation, we not only support Bottom Line’s mission with donations but also through the dedicated efforts of our volunteers. This recognition is a reminder of how powerful community partnerships can be, and I’m grateful to continue working alongside such an inspiring organization. I had the honor to receive the inaugural Bottom Line Massachusetts Young Alumni Award at the Go Far, Give Back Soirée! This award is given to an alum who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the betterment of the Boston community. As I mentioned during my brief acceptance speech, I hope that my fellow Bottom Line Alumni find opportunities to also give back, no matter how far they’ve gotten into their careers. The work that I do is truly a labor of love, so it was a pleasant surprise to have that work be acknowledged. Thank you again to the Bottom Line MA team for organizing such an amazing event, but also for your continued work to increase educational access and success for scholars here in the state. Lastly, thank you to my friends/family members for showing up to celebrate with me and to those who I was able to meet and connect with at the event.
