It’s a great day at Brumidi Group when legisltion gets through Congress and will soon be signed into law by the President. Big congrats to our clients who have worked on this for many years and all those throughout the policy ecosystem who leaned in and got this done. #congress #explore #outdoors
I feel so fortunate to have worked with so many people who pushed the EXPLORE Act over the finish line last night. The legislative journey is never easy or predictable, but when there is a team of organizations, companies, and policymakers rowing in the same direction for years, it ends in success. Lots of ups and downs along the way, but a diverse and bipartisan coalition in support of the EXPLORE Act stayed together, worked hard, and embraced a long-term sophisticated strategy. At Brumidi Group, we call this the Art of Impact. Congrats to the many people and organizations who tirelessly worked to get the EXPLORE Act across the finish line -- too many to mention. And a special thank you to our clients who played an important role, including Outdoor Recreation Roundtable REI PeopleForBikes KABOOM! INFORMS American Bus Association and NASORLO. The EXPLORE Act passing is worth a big celebration. But the process (which is what we spend our time on at Brumidi Group) is one that should be studied and replicated...it represented everything policymaking on Capitol Hill should be -- bipartisan, policymakers working together, solutions oriented, non-political, and delivering solutions that everyone can benefit from. It is a reminder of how impactful Congress can be. Congrats to those that made this happen and we all look forward to the journey ahead.
