Some of you that read our posts here consistently might not know a lot about us, much less about the people that work here. So, we’ve decided to put a stop to that, and show you that we are real 😂, and introduce you to our amazing team. All that being said, we wanted to start this with a banger, so today we will introduce you to María Andrea Barrios (AKA, Mandre). Mandre Barrios is our Operations Manager, and one of the team members with the most time working with us. As we continue to grow and offer our eLearning services to more companies, her focus has been on facilitating the success of our internal teams by ensuring they are fully established and equipped with the necessary support, processes and resources to lead and successfully own projects. So, basically, she takes care of pretty much everything, making sure we're all settled in and ready to do our jobs. However, that hasn't been the case from the beginning. Mandre started as Rise Developer, almost 3 years ago. After showing great capacity and results, she was promoted to QA. She then was promoted as a Project Manager and stayed like that for about a year. Finally, she transitioned to her current job as Operations Manager. Just like she adapted and learned her way into every position we've had, Mandre states that “bylittle’s greatest strength is our ability to adapt to the changing needs of this industry. We tackle every challenge with an open mind, constantly improving how we operate to ensure that our clients receive the support they need, while also empowering our internal team with the tools and resources to grow into their roles and achieve success”. It’s a wrap for 2024! With this year coming to an end, we wanted to show some of our numbers, which means a lot to us. This was a fixing year for us, and we sure did fix a lot! Processes, procedures, and internal operations we needed to enhance. This is setting us up for success in 2025, where the word will be: GROW. Best part? We’re only in year 3. So, hopefully, the future is very bright for us. Seeing how much our company is growing is exciting thanks to our combined team effort! Recently, we showed you some of our work in PowerPoint for an automotive company. But given that we can adapt to every industry and company's needs, we wanted to show you another project for our friends in the Retail industry. These decks can be used for both traditional classroom training and virtual sessions. Plus, they're a handy tool for year-end reviews and training. We get it! After every quarter we are all in a rush, there’s only time to do certain things, and maybe some of the training gets pushed back. Well, your team would appreciate a nice end-of-year presentation. As some of you might know, our job as an eLearning agency is fighting against those old and outdated PowerPoint presentations that companies use, still to this day. However, PowerPoint is NOT our enemy. PowerPoint is not the problem. As a matter of fact, you can make beautiful slides there and create an amazing training experience for your learners. PPT decks are handy for an ILT or a VILT, helping the instructor with that support material for their classes, showing examples, videos, images, and texts, making them more visually appealing. How do we know? Well, we actually do it. We do way more than just Rise and Storyline. So, this is a great example of PowerPoint done right, for an automotive company, one of the many industries we have worked on. This is one of many PowerPoint projects that we’ve done. Here at bylittle, we use a loooot of tools and platforms that make life easier, faster, and more organized. But one of our absolute favorites is Notion. An amazing tool where we compile cross-departmental information, and we store pretty much everything that we work on (even our LinkedIn posts, like this one😂). All that being said, our eLearning specialist yhordy arevalo did an amazing job for the ELH #479, an #ELHChallenge about teaching one or more tips for using your favorite app. He had no restrictions regarding format, which is why he made an interactive tutorial! Since Notion is a must for us, Yhordy chose to showcase it. The main goal was to make a step-by-step walkthrough that would help users understand how to use it. So, we designed an interaction that taught a couple of Notion tools, using a pre-rendered 3D character as a presenter to make the content more dynamic and engaging, guiding the user through some parts of the app. We also made sure the design was clean yet eye-catching, with smooth and engaging transitions. We included an interactive slide at the end to reinforce the learning and keep the user engaged. The final result was what we expected: A clean and professional design, but visually appealing, with great transitions and a final interaction that made the content more dynamic and effective for users.
