Oscar-winning director Steve McQueen has revealed he was diagnosed with prostate cancer two years ago. He received his diagnosis just before filming was set to start on his latest film Blitz. The start date was pushed back two weeks so he could have surgery, and when he showed up on set, he chose not to tell any of the 200 person crew as he didn't want anything to distract from their work. The Office's Jenna Fischer recently disclosed her cancer diagnosis. She continued hosting a podcast with her former co-star Angela Kinsey throughout treatment saying, "At work, I [wanted] that to be a space where we go and we laugh and I’m not a cancer patient.
