About us
The Carbon Zero Youth Initiative (CZYI) will engage youth ages 10-21 in the global movement to decarbonize the built environment and achieve carbon neutrality through education and advocacy support. In partnership with educational, climate advocacy, and industry groups, the CZYI will advance awareness of the climate impact of buildings and building materials and carbon-reduction opportunities, highlight related careers, and provide support for youth to encourage carbon-conscious building practices in their communities.
