🌍 EOTEC DevNet January 2025 Floods Working Group Meetings 🌊 Kickstart the year with EOTEC DevNet’s first community of practice meetings featuring a spotlight session on Google Flood Hub, an AI-powered flood forecasting tool covering 80 countries. Martin Gauch from Google will share the latest updates on this innovative tool and its global coverage. NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration's OPERA Sentinel-1 radiometric terrain corrected (RTC) product was recently certified as CEOS-ARD compliant. The article below details the benefits of these standards, and how they are helping to lower the barriers to analysing SAR data. https://lnkd.in/gxvGG43R "Another key point is the certified SAR-RTC products allow researchers to treat the radar data like optical imagery, which means they can seamlessly analyze optical imagery from platforms such as Landsat and Sentinel-2 with data from SAR instruments," - Gerald Bawden
