Today's employee spotlight is Michaela Vacca! Michaela is a Category Manager for Procurement's Perishables team and has been with Clark for three years. When asked what she enjoys most about working for Clark, Michaela said, "It's the atmosphere of accountability, ownership, and opportunity for growth. I also enjoy the people. It is a privilege to come into the office each day and work with a group of people who consistently fire on all cylinders. It's the constant drive for success, yet challenging the status quo that makes this environment so unique and a pleasure to be a part of!"

Clark Associates and Clark Associates Charitable Foundation are proud supporters of Lancaster County Community Foundation’s annual ExtraGive, a 24-hour community-wide giving event inspiring individual donations to local nonprofits. This year’s ExtraGive was held on November 22 and nearly 300 employees showed their support. To maximize our impact, Clark Associates Charitable Foundation matched employee donations for a grand total of $112,470. What a great way to kick off this season of giving! #ExtraGive2024

Our corporate campus celebrated Clarksgiving today! Clarksgiving has become an employee favorite event – a day where we enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal with our coworkers to kick off the holiday season. CEO Gene Clark also joined in the fun and served Clarksgiving to employees! A big thank you to our friends at Bird-in-Hand Family Restaurant for providing a delicious meal. As part of this year's Clarksgiving initiative, employees donated canned goods for Mission Food Pantry. In total, we collected 547 canned good items for local families in need this holiday season.

Today's employee spotlight is Connor Maxwell! Connor is a Vendor Manager for Procurement's Refrigeration team and has been with Clark for five years. When asked about Clark's company culture, Connor said, "Here at Clark, everyone strives for greatness. There's always a team first attitude and everyone will do anything to help grow the company year-in and year-out. Clark is also a forward-thinking company. I can't wait to see the advancements we make in the years to come!"

Today's employee spotlight is Allison Strauss! Allison is a Senior Category Manager for Procurement's Disposable Food Service Supplies team and has been with Clark for 10 years. When asked about Clark's company culture, Allison said, "Clark has grown significantly in the 10 years I've been here, but our culture has stayed true to keeping employees as the core focus. Time and time again, I've seen that if you have determination and grit, sky's the limit to your growth potential!"

A big thank you to GiGi's Playhouse for joining us at our corporate campus today for a lunch & learn! President of the Board Kevin Hewitt spoke to employees about the mission of GiGi's Playhouse, the programs they offer, and the impact volunteers have on their organization. Employees also heard from Caitlin, a GiGi's advocate, about how much GiGi's Playhouse means to her! GiGi’s Playhouse is the only worldwide network of Down syndrome achievement centers; changing lives through free, results-driven programs for individuals of all ages, their families, and communities. Today's employee spotlight is Tanner Erisman! Tanner is the Director of Dry Foods for Procurement's Consumables team and has been with Clark for five years. When asked about Clark's company culture, Tanner said, "Everyone at Clark is driven to be the best and shares the same goals. Leadership continuously encourages employees to embody our core values and recognizes when there is a consistent effort and execution in doing so."

Today's employee spotlight is Brittany Winnick! Brittany is a Vendor Manager for Procurement's Smallwares team and has been with Clark for 10 years. When asked what she enjoys most about working for Clark, Brittany said, "I love the day-to-day aspects of my job, working with vendor partners and overseeing everything from order placement to invoicing, to scheduling and approving marketing. I appreciate that I'm given independence with my workload and that I have managers who do not micromanage."
