The Irish Association recently held a workshop on ‘A Vision for North South Co-operation’ at the Royal Irish Academy with speakers and panelist’s covering N-S cooperation in the Health and the Environment sectors. Got to join colleagues from across the Island to talk about the work of the All Island Climate & Biodiversity Research Network and the Co-Centre for Climate + Biodiversity + Water and their roles in developing a vision and programme for research North-South and East-West. Climate change and biodiversity loss don’t observe borders and need to be addressed in a coordinated way across the islands of Ireland and Great Britain.
