I call this photo, "The Picture That Made My Day"! I had the pleasure of escorting Nicholas Kedrowski and Nyree Kedrowski on behalf of the Construction Business Group who are the owners of Five Skies Training & Consulting during the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 139 Training Center Externship Days. They also brought along their girls Makealea and Noelle for not only the tour, but to experience first hand what it would be like to operate heavy equipment. During the tour, my main objective was to give these teenaged girls confidence when they got the opportunity to get into the cab of multiple pieces of equipment, and they rose to the occasion with confidence; ready to roll! As we approached the lunch hour and I had to leave, they requested a picture with me. And this picture speaks a thousand words as we say, but I say it made my day! #sevengenerations

CBG had the pleasure of hosting Nicholas Kedrowski and Nyree Kedrowski from Five Skies Training and Consulting at the first day of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 139 Training School’s Externship Day. Their smiles says it all! We are “Building Wisconsin Together”.

Executive Director Robb Kahl and DBE Development Director Joseph Davis, Sr. presented Certificates of Completion to the newly graduates of CBG's Master Class at their DBE Roundtable 4.0 Conference at the Glacier Canyon's Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells in partnership with Wisconsin Department of Transportation's DBE Program and the Wisconsin Transportation Builders Association. The Master Class is the vehicle in which CBG has provided strategic resources for DBEs who are eager to either enter the road-paving industry or build capacity in the existing business. "CBG used our established internal expertise and external partnerships to develop this industry-specific training that will be targeted to the DBE’s capacity", said Robb. Congratulations to the graduates Katie Gallegos, Ginkgo Stonescapes; Jesus Ortega-Hernandez, Sierrah Construction; and Kristine Froseth, Froseth Enterprises.

It’s Buckle Up Phone Down Day! We urge drivers and passengers to make a commitment to safety on the roads by taking the two most important actions to prevent or survive a crash: buckling up and putting the phone down.
