Creative Futures Academy, the Institute of Directors Ireland and the IoD Northern Ireland were delighted to launch the Creative Boardroom: Collaborate4Climate Exhibition last night at the NCAD Gallery on Thomas Street, Dublin 8. Oonagh Buckley, Secretary General, Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications officially opened the exhibition. Funded by Creative Ireland's Climate Action Programme and the Shared Island initiative, Creative Boardroom: Collaborate4Climate is an urgent call to action in the face of one of the most pressing challenges of our time: #climatechange. In an era defined by unprecedented environmental challenges, this exhibition serves as a platform for exploring how collective action can drive meaningful change. The programme aimed to impact participants' behaviors and attitudes using an iterative process known as Design Thinking. Students from National College of Art & Design and Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology together with Chartered Directors used empathy-driven exercises to share diverse perspectives and gain a deeper understanding of complex climate-related issues and the underlying challenges that prevent behavioral change.  The exhibition will run from 22nd November to 6th December and is open to the general public from 11am to 6pm daily, Monday to Friday. * ONLY 3 DAY LEFT TO VISIT CREATIVE BOARDROOM EXHIBITION* - A busy day in the NCAD Gallery yesterday welcoming some wonderful guests to view the Creative Boardroom: Collaborate4Climate Exhibition. There is still time to pop by National College of Art & Design as the exhibition is open to the public until Friday 6pm! It was great to have the board and staff of Business to Arts visit and help to spread the word about the work undertaken and raising awareness of issues around #climatechange at Boardroom level. It was powerful to have industry leaders such as Enda Gunnell, CEO Pinergy view the work on display and observe the suggested Director recommendations. Thank you once again to Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications for their support for the programme and to Fiona Delaney & Diarmuid O'Connor for stopping by! Finally a warm thanks to Roisin Markham who has done such wonderful work raising awareness and promoting education with Doughnut Economics Action Lab (DEAL) in Ireland and highlighting the importance of adopting #DoughnutEconomics theories to help avoid breaching planetary boundaries and reduce consumption habits. Join us at the NCAD Gallery, for the official opening of the Creative Boardroom: Collaborate4Climate exhibition tomorrow from 6pm. The culmination of a series of design-led workshops between design students from National College of Art & Design, and Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT), together with Chartered Directors from the Institute of Directors Ireland and IoD Northern Ireland.
