In a new preprint, the Cheng lab at Stanford University School of Medicine describes their unbiased approach to building a transcriptomic, cellular, and spatial atlas map of human arterial cells from multiple arterial locations to better understand potential underlying causes of vascular diseases. Using Curio Seeker (based on “Slide-seq,” Seeker’s foundational technology), their lab was able to identify cell-specific heterogeneity in gene expression that correlated with numerous known genes associated with vascular disease risk. 📖 Read more here: https://hubs.ly/Q02TL1tf0
