DuroTerra supplies Ductile Iron Piles (DIPs) to geotechnical contractors throughout the United States and Canada. Ductile Iron Piles are highly effective, fast, and versatile modular driven piling system. Designed to resist both compression and tension loads in either end-bearing or friction, DIPs are a proven solution to support foundation loads in a variety of problematic soil conditions across multiple applications. Applications most frequently utilized include sites with organics, adjacent structures, low vibrations, variable bedrock, constrained sites, urban fill, soft soils, and low overhead conditions.

Installing deep foundations inside existing structures is a perfect application for #DuctileIronPiles. New foundations were required inside an existing warehouse shell in Michigan that had ceiling heights of 25 to 28 ft. Designers at Geopier chose to use exterior-grouted Ductile Iron Piles to achieve pile capacities up to 75 kips in compression and 5 kips in lateral. Peterson Contractors Inc. installed nearly 400 piles to depths ranging from 50 to 60 feet at an average production rate of over 1,000 LF per day. The PCI crews really put the FAST in FAST.SIMPLE.SAFE!
