READI is fueling Indiana's growing creative economy and improving quality of place across the state. We saw more proof of that today as the new Gas City Performing Arts Center opened its doors to the community and visitors! The nearly 40,000-square-foot, 1,830-seat music venue—one of the first READI projects to get underway in 2022—will fill a critical void of entertainment spaces in Gas City and the surrounding areas, serving as the main venue for the local school district’s fine arts programming and a hub for music, comedy and theater performances. We are incredibly honored to share that East Central has received $35 million in funding from READI 2.0! Our region was awarded with the second largest tier of funding. This would not have been possible without the collective efforts of all of our community members and stakeholders. This is a huge win for ECI and a testament to what we can achieve when we forge the path together! Thank you to Governor Holcomb and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation for their investment in our region. Check out the full press release here: bit.ly/43ZCEA7 #EastCentralIndiana #READI
