The second publication titled, 'How Do We Steer Our Economy,' from our ongoing debate series is now up on our website. The 2023-24 debate series focuses on ‘boundaries’ – be it planetary boundaries and social foundations, the limits of feasibility and political enforceability, the limits of economic theory, or outdated paradigms, the limits of the subject, space, or time. This piece by Dirk Ehnts elaborates on the previous use of fiscal policy, monetary policy, and trade policy that has led to complex problems. To solve these, they say, we must use our economic policy instruments differently. Give it a read, debate, rebut and engage with this submission. Read here: https://lnkd.in/eQJsGb_d

However, the profound effects of sufficiency policy on our economy are not yet well understood. Read here: https://lnkd.in/g3kF5EkM

How do we prepare students for the future we want, not the one we came from? Current economic systems are undermining social and ecological wellbeing, and too often education perpetuates these degenerative systems. We can change that. Please join us on April 26 for a brief webinar exploring the what, why, and how of regenerative economics. This is your chance to learn more about the project as well as ways to get involved. Together we can uncover opportunities to engage students in the concepts and learning experiences that will help them design brighter futures. Learn more and register: https://lnkd.in/eYBPB8ng
