🚨 The North-South divide that existed before Covid persists. 🚨 The widening GCSE results gap between the South and the rest of England is a stark reminder of the challenges faced by educators in the North. In four out of five regions in the North and the Midlands, pass rates are lower than in 2019, while the South continues to see improvements. This divide highlights the lasting impact of uneven pandemic disruptions, with northern areas like Manchester, Lancashire, and Liverpool facing stricter, longer lockdowns. Proof, if proof were needed, that we urgently need an event that addresses the specific needs of educators in the North. BRILLIANT is that event. Be part of it!
