The Path Forward for Elevated Denver’s Neighborhood Resource Hubs At Elevated Denver, we believe homelessness is solvable—and we’re proving it by creating innovative micro-solutions. One such solution is the Peer-Led Resource Connection Hub, a neighborhood-based, human-to-human support model designed to connect individuals to life-changing resources before they fall into homelessness. Here’s where we’re at and where we’re headed: ➡ Now: Engaging community leaders, nonprofits, clinics, schools, and libraries to ensure the Hub integrates seamlessly into neighborhoods most in need. ➡ March 2025: Launching the first pilot Hub in one to two neighborhoods identified based on data such as eviction rates, housing-cost burden, and transportation access. ➡ 2025 and Beyond: Running a one-year pilot with integrated evaluation and continuous learning to refine the model for sustainability & scalability. This solution focuses on the hardest-to-reach individuals—those at risk of homelessness or newly unhoused—who often don’t know where to turn for help. Early intervention through the Hub has the potential to prevent chronic homelessness and create ripple effects of stability across our community. We’re building a stronger, more equitable Denver, and we’re grateful to have supporters like you by our side. If you’d like to learn more or support this work, let’s connect! #HomelessnessSolutions #ElevatedDenver #Innovation #ColoradoGivesDay #CommunityImpact https://lnkd.in/gKE8msk9

⏳ Colorado Gives Day is almost here! This year, Elevated Denver is inviting you to join us in building a more equitable, effective response to homelessness in our city. Homelessness in Denver has reached record levels, and while housing is critical, we need community-driven solutions that address the root causes and ensure people have the support they need to stabilize and thrive. That’s why we’re piloting the Peer-Led Resource Connection Hub, a first-of-its-kind model developed with input from lived experts, policymakers, service providers, and business leaders. The Hub will: ✅ Provide deep mental health and peer support through Peer Support Specialists with lived experience. ✅ Actively test and refine the model, creating a playbook for long-term sustainability and scalability. ✅ Continue engaging lived experts to shape the Hub and future Collaboratories. 💛 Your early support helps us launch this pilot and build a more compassionate safety net for our Denver neighbors. ✨ Bonus: If you set up a recurring donation, the Colorado Gives Foundation will match the first monthly donation up to $100 for new donors! 💬 Let’s come together to create systemic, equity-driven change in Denver. Donate now or mark your calendar for Colorado Gives Day on December 5th: https://lnkd.in/gKE8msk9 #ColoradoGivesDay #ElevatedDenver #HomelessnessSolutions #PeerSupport #CommunityDrivenChange

🌟 It’s Giving Tuesday! 🌟 Today, we’re asking for your support to help Elevated Denver build a more equitable and compassionate system to address homelessness. Homelessness in Denver has reached record levels, and we know housing alone isn’t the full solution. At Elevated Denver, we’re piloting the Neighborhood-Based Resource Navigation Hub, a unique model designed to reach people early—when they’re newly unhoused or on the brink—connecting them to the mental health support, peer guidance, and resources they need to stabilize and thrive. [check out the video! - https://lnkd.in/gAbazcbB] 💡 Here’s how your donation will make a difference: Staffing the Hub with Peer Support Specialists: People with lived experience providing trusted guidance and connection. Testing and refining the model: Dollars will help us track what works, adjust in real-time, and create a programmatic playbook for a community partner to take over post-pilot. Engaging lived experts: Ensuring the voices of those with firsthand experience continue to shape the Hub and future Collaboratories. Your support isn’t just a donation—it’s an investment in a community-led solution that has the potential to change the way we address homelessness in Denver and beyond. Let’s build a system that works for everyone. 💛 Donate today: https://lnkd.in/gKE8msk9 📢 Share this post to help us spread the word! #GivingTuesday #ElevatedDenver #PeerSupport #EquityDrivenSolutions #HomelessnessResponse #CommunityAction

Thank you all to all who came out in celebration and support last week. Let's keep the momentum going!
This season of gratitude reminds me of the power of community and collaboration to create meaningful change. Last week partners, collaborators and supports of ours gathered to celebrate the successful conclusion of our first ever Collaboratory, and the solution that was designed by lived experts and other leaders in our community. The room was filled with amazing, inspiring people, and the energy to keep working on solving homelessness was palpable. And, thanks to the generosity of the Reiter Family Foundation and our incredible supporters, we raised $6,395 to be matched—doubling the impact of every dollar! These funds fuel our mission to transform Denver’s homelessness response system, ensuring our neighbors can access resources when they need them most. Every story we hear—like the woman I sat with last weekend, whose life unraveled after a medical emergency—sets the foundation for our drive to create a social safety net that truly supports everyone. While we have made significant progress, the work doesn't stop here. We need everyone now, more than ever, to be part of the solution to homeless. If it's available to you, please consider: 💙 Making a Difference Today: Donate to connect people with critical resources. 💙 Being a Champion for Change: Support innovative solutions like our Neighborhood-Based Resource Hub. 💙 Amplifying Your Impact: Consider becoming a monthly donor and sustain lasting change and see if your employer will match your donation. Together, we can create a future where no one falls through the cracks. Let’s make this Giving Season our most impactful yet! #ElevatedDenver #SeasonOfGiving #SolutionsToHomelessness https://lnkd.in/g8xMHkJp

🚀 Monday we had the privilege of presenting to Denver City Council’s Budget and Policy Committee about our groundbreaking work on Elevated Denver’s first Collaboratory and the upcoming pilot of the Neighborhood Resource Navigation Hub. It was an inspiring opportunity to share how this Hub was co-designed with lived experts, service providers, business leaders and policymakers to address the complexity of homelessness. We're tackling one of the most urgent issues in Denver by creating a model where connection and navigation are at the forefront. We are committed to piloting the resultant solutions, starting with the Hub, which will help those newly unhoused or on the cusp find services and resources before it's too late. It’s all about meeting people where they are, early intervention, and supporting them via peer navigation—because human connection is at the heart of addressing homelessness. 💡 Thank you to the City Council for allowing us to share this vision and for considering innovative approaches that prioritize equity and systemic change. 🙌 Watch the presentation here (first 50 minutes): https://lnkd.in/ggTEaPST.

“Our lived experience is our superpower because we can build connection and trust with people, in a second.” – Betsy Craft, Collaboratory Participant We are deeply grateful to Tatiana Flowers and The Colorado Sun for shining a light on the Neighborhood-Based Resource Hub pilot. This Hub is the result of an incredible collective effort through Elevated Denver’s first Collaboratory, where community members—those with lived experience, service providers, business leaders, and policymakers—came together to co-create solutions. The Collaboratory was instrumental in shaping the Hub by bringing together diverse voices and experiences, including the lived experts who know firsthand the challenges of navigating homelessness. Through research, prototyping, and testing, we refined the model to ensure it truly addresses the needs of individuals newly unhoused or on the cusp of homelessness. This community-driven approach is what makes the Hub so powerful. It’s not just about connecting people to resources, but creating a trusting space for individuals and families to feel supported as they navigate an overly complex system of support, guided by Peer staff who have been there themselves. We want to extend our deepest thanks to all who were part of this process—from the Collaboratory participants to the Champions who have supported us every step of the way. Without your dedication and insights, this solution would not be possible. Read the full article and join us in this movement for meaningful change: https://lnkd.in/gCGSyx_D.

Grateful to have facilitated a workshop last week at Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation's Impact Denver's Essential Needs Day! During our hour and a half session—designed as a mini-Collaboratory—we invited the cohort to reflect on their site visits to community partners and challenged them to ideate how they, their organizations, and their cohort could take action to support these organizations and the broader community. It was inspiring to see the energy and commitment in the room as we explored how to deepen our impact on essential needs in Denver. Thank you Jenna Diaz-Gonzalez (she/her/hers) for including us!

🌟 Elevated Denver is excited to announce the release of our latest Issue Brief: "Community Landscape: Gaps in the Housing & Homelessness System Keep People in Crisis." This report is a culmination of extensive research, including interviews with 38 unhoused individuals and insights from two community forums. Our findings reveal significant systemic barriers that keep individuals trapped in cycles of homelessness, such as limited accessibility to essential services, overwhelmed case management systems, and inadequate post-housing support. Despite these challenges, we discovered inspiring resilience within the community, bolstered by strong social networks and dedicated advocacy organizations. "For many of our unhoused neighbors, trusted relationships with case managers and community support networks are lifelines that provide both hope and tangible assistance in overcoming daily challenges." We invite policymakers, public leaders, and community members to engage with these insights and collaborate with us to drive meaningful change in Denver's housing and homelessness systems. Together, we can create a more inclusive and effective system that supports all individuals in achieving stability and dignity.
