When I think about the best managers that I have worked for since my first job at 14, they all have embodied these traits in one way or another. Most impactful to me are being consistent with actions, apologizing when they were wrong and admitting mistakes. As managers, these are the behaviors that you must model and owe to your employees if you want loyalty and buy-in.
