    Your retail teams are the real MVPs of BFCM — so here’s 4 ideas to show them some love this week! It is the “thanks”-giving season, after all. 🦃 1. Find out what motivates them. Team coffee? A small gift? A public shout-out? It’s different for everyone, so ask your team! Post a poll in the break room, or just chat with them during a slower shift. 2. Celebrate the small wins. Overhear an associate perfectly handle a customer complaint? Or a teammate upsell with ease? Give them kudos on the spot! You could even set-up a team kudos board in the break room for anyone to shoutout their colleagues. 3. Keep it fun. Black Friday can certainly feel intense and stressful, but it doesn't have to be. A little fun can go a long way: - Organize a team contest, with prizes for the winner(s) - Create team superlatives with fun titles - Host a party or team-building event after BFCM to celebrate 4. Don't underestimate the power of food. Food is truly the universal love language. Be it coffee, a stocked fridge, or pizza during lunch time, food is sure to lift spirits. At the end of the day, a happy team = happy customers!

    Holiday spending is expected to grow this year — but not for the reasons you might think. It’s not about early shopping or even buying more gifts. What consumers really want this year are experiences, and they’re willing to spend more to get them. According to new Deloitte research, experience spending will grow by 16% this year. While that might sound like bad news for retailers, it’s really an opportunity in disguise. Think about it: if your brand can create a memorable shopping experience, you can tap into this trend and come out on top. Here’s how some of are brands are doing just that: ✅ GANNI is targeting holiday party shoppers Ganni knows their customers love to shine at holiday parties, so they’re offering exclusive styling appointments. Shoppers (and their friends) can get styled from head to toe, helping them them look and feel fabulous at their next event. Now that’s an experience worth talking about!! ✅ Reformation is planning in-store events for VIPs Reformation is going all out with meaningful customer experiences. VIPs are getting personalized invites to in-store events, complete with curated beverages and access to their favorite products. They’re turning shopping into an exclusive experience. The takeaway?     The word "banger" and "conference" don't typically go hand-in-hand, but NewStore, Inc. somehow pulled it off with their first-ever Endless Aisle conference in #NYC. While the conference was hosted by a #POS (read: vendor with an agenda), not a single presentation or panel felt like it was focused on selling you NewStore's software. all the content revolved around strategy, technology, and what brands can do differently in the days and years to come. I (of course) especially loved hearing leaders at HANRO, Reiss and UNTUCKit each define #clienteling in their own words: - Marianna Satanas highlighted how clienteling is about "creating, defining and cultivating the relationship" as opposed to just sharing updates or news about products -Emma Taylor shared how important clienteling is to keeping and retaining customers once you've captured them - Kaitlin Gottlieb emphasized how associates are essential in creating bonds with customers that go deeper than marketing ever can, turning transactions into lasting relationships. Everyone walked away particularly inspired by Kaitlin's reminder to focus on the WIIFM - "What's in it for me": No matter who you're dealing with on your team, bringing a major initiative down to where it impacts the individual will result in much more focus and overall better outcomes Loved hearing their perspectives on #BFCM as well, with each woman calling out how to stand out from the crowd this holiday season, including ideas like pre-sale events just for your VIP customers and online holiday concierge services like product recommendations and gift wrapping - I also met my new hero Jenna Flateman Posner, who reinforced Endear's own outlook on #AI as a tool not to replace humans but rather as one that ensures that we humans never have to do the things we don't like to do, ever again! As she put it: AI Agents can't quit and they don't take vacation, make them do the un-fun stuff! Congrats to Marcus LaRobardiere and the whole NewStore, Inc. team, we're thrilled to have been a sponsor of this inaugural conference, and looking forward to next year!
