🚀 Exciting News! Welcome to the Team, Steve Krum! We’re thrilled to announce that Steve has joined the Enduralock team as our Business Development Manager! Steve brings an incredible wealth of experience from his distinguished 23-year career in the US Navy. As a fighter pilot and test pilot, he logged over 2,100 hours in 25 different aircraft types. Following his time in the cockpit, Steve transitioned to defense acquisition, where he specialized in the oversight of aircraft and satellite manufacturing, repair, and overhaul. Throughout his career, Steve collaborated with leading aerospace manufacturers like Boeing, Northrop Grumman, and Lockheed Martin to implement best manufacturing practices that supported the Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and the National Reconnaissance Office. Steve’s deep understanding of the aerospace industry and its challenges positions him to drive meaningful innovation at Enduralock. He recognizes the transformative potential of our solutions to meet the evolving needs of the sector. Join us in giving Steve a warm welcome to the team! We're excited for the journey ahead.
About us
Enduralock offers the basic mechanical building blocks for the construction of a space infrastructure: a permanently locking fastener that is highly vibration resistant and unaffected by the harshness of space, paired with the first mechanically locking nut plate that will engage an off-axis bolt and self-align for robotic construction in space. Enduralock fasteners are ideal for critical applications, as the fasteners remain locked even with total loss of preload (clamping force). Enduralock fasteners survived 10x the aerospace requirement for a self-locking nut, and reusability has been demonstrated to 250 cycles. Enduralock fasteners eliminate the need for safety wire, castle nuts, or adhesives, and a key attribute is that they reduce the time and cost of installation and maintenance.

We'll see you in Orlando at #SpaceCom 2025! Harold Hess Spencer Hanson Diana Greenberg #SpaceMobility #commercialSpace #aerospace #CommercialSpaceWeek
Welcome Enduralock to #CommercialSpaceWeek as an exhibitor! Make sure you visit them at the SpaceCom | 51st Space Congress & Space Mobility Conference & Expo Jan. 28-30, 2025 in Orlando! Register at https://lnkd.in/exsj4rDD ABOUT ENDURALOCK Dr. Harold Hess, CEO and Founder of Enduralock, was a neurosurgeon specializing in implanting interspinous process devices. Frustrated by lengthy surgery and recovery times, he developed an interspinous-interlaminar fusion device with a proprietary locking mechanism that endured 5 million cycles of compression and 5 million cycles of torque without loosening. This device, now FDA-approved and CE-marked, is used across the US and in Europe. Inspired by its success, Dr. Hess founded Enduralock, recognizing the critical importance of reliable fastener connections in #aerospace and commercial space. #SpaceCom #SpaceMobility #GSASpaceportSummit #Commercialspaceweek #ArtemisII #Artemis #commercialSpace
