The Enterprise Program was recently featured in UPword Michigan for its powerful impact on preparing students for careers through direct collaboration with industry partners. As one student shared: “It’s such a unique opportunity because it gets you into that industry mindset and allows you to figure out what you’re passionate about.” For 25 years, Enterprise has empowered Huskies to collaborate in interdisciplinary teams, innovate with sponsors, and build the skills employers want. 🚀 Support the Astro-Huskies Lunar Robotics Team! 🌕 The Astro-Huskies, part of the Multiplanetary INnovation Enterprise (MINE), are making waves in NASA’s Lunabotics competition! Over the past six years, this team of talented students has showcased their skills at the Kennedy Space Center, recently earning 6th place out of 42 teams and excavating the 3rd highest amount of lunar regolith (moon dirt). 🌌💪 This year’s challenge is bigger than ever: 🔸 Design and build a lunar rover capable of navigating treacherous lunar terrain. 🔸 Excavate and transport regolith to construct a berm – all while balancing mass, energy efficiency, and autonomy for extra points. Beyond the competition, the Astro-Huskies inspire the next generation of engineers and scientists through STEM outreach. From elementary to high school students, they share their knowledge about NASA, Artemis missions, and lunar robotics – fueling excitement for space exploration. 🌟 Here’s where you come in: The Astro-Huskies rely almost entirely on grants and donations to build their rovers and attend competitions. Your support can help them achieve their goals and represent Michigan Tech on the national stage. 🔗 Donate today to their Superior Ideas page and help launch the next great innovation in lunar robotics! https://lnkd.in/eNmgsjX6 #AstroHuskies #LunarRobotics #NASA #STEMEducation #MTUEnterprise #SupportInnovation #HuskyPride

🏁 Blizzard Baja SAE Team Competes at Backwoods Baja 🏁 The Michigan Tech Blizzard Baja SAE team recently participated in UW-Stout’s annual Backwoods Baja competition, alongside teams from universities across the region. Out of 25 vehicles, the Blizzard Baja team’s cars placed impressively – #45 Matador finished 3rd with the fastest lap time of 3:37.886, and #44 Hornet finished 5th. A memorable moment? #44 experienced a full rollover on the track, but with quick recovery, it returned to the race with no delay. An excellent demonstration of teamwork and engineering resilience! 📷 : AJ Chelko #BajaSAE #BlizzardBaja #MTUEnterprise #EngineeringExcellence #STEMinAction #BackwoodsBaja
