At femPAQ were we’ve developed a medical device for menstruating people who have unexpected periods by providing providing convenient sustainable emergency kit to help businesses stay prepared for menstruating customers as well as employees.thtravel and hospitality industry. 64% of women make up the global travel market and unfortunately the lack of feminine hygiene products is a problem in the industry. Our mission is normalize periods and create period equity so that all menstruating 🩸 people feel comfortable and safe in any environment.

I’m deeply honored and thrilled to say that next Friday, November 22, I will be leading an international & hybrid workshop on Impact Communication for Social Change in Bursa, Turkey—a collaboration event between The Venture Center, the Nilüfer Social Entrepreneurship Centre, the Yekpare Social Enterprise Union, and the American Councils for International Education’s Professional Fellows Program—and you are invited to join! This workshop is seven months in the making and will focus on storytelling to build the social enterprise landscapes in Turkey and in the United States. My counterpart from Turkey, Zeliha Çürüksulu—who I was introduced to and mentored in May/June of this year—and I will be joined during the workshop by American experts in the industry: April Roy, the founder and CEO of femPAQ and Darren Irby, the Nation Executive Director of Brand, Partnerships, and Innovation for the American Red Cross. I leave for Turkey this Sunday, and in addition to this workshop, I will spend a week traveling the country for study visits and opportunities to further understand the social enterprise landscape in Turkey, and how to apply what I learned in Arkansas. I’m also so excited to see my dear friend, Zeliha, once again. Cultural and global education is arguably more important now than ever before. It is such a privilege to get to travel the world, learn, and share with others!
