Growing up in Mexico, Jesus Charles admired the work ethic of his father and grandfather as they took on a variety of skilled trades work from car repairs and masonry to plumbing and carpentry. That drive inspired Jesus to pursue a career in aerospace engineering at the The University of Texas at Austin. He joined Firefly as a Mission Manager for the Alpha rocket before eventually moving to the Blue Ghost team as Senior Mission Operations Engineer and Flight Director.

Her official title may be Office Coordinator, but around Firefly Aerospace, she’s the “Hive Mom” at our spacecraft facility. Whether you need chocolate or a listening ear, you can count on Cindy Martinez. Cindy takes care of the Blue Ghost team like her own children, and she credits being a mom for that nurturing spirit. Cindy graduated from Texas A&M International University and has been with Firefly for over three years.
