You might remember Flowhub’s first-ever Budtender Love Week last year, where budtenders nationwide were recognized for the work they do to make legal cannabis accessible. Tim won the Highest High Award, which means he’s sold more cannabis products than any other budtender in Flowhub history! Flowhub asked the cannabis industry to share their best tips for budtenders during Budtender Love Week… and you delivered! 61 tips and tricks were collected and compiled into a budtender resource. Here’s Tim’s best tip: “The cannabis industry is constantly growing and changing. It may seem intimidating, but always remember your team has your back! Reminder for New York cannabis retailers: The deadline to submit your inventory tracking system to the Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) is quickly approaching! You have until January 17th, 2025 to let the OCM know your intended POS vendor that integrates with BioTrack, the official NY Seed-to-Sale (STS) Tracking System. Flowhub has already completed our integration and we are proud to be an approved POS vendor in New York. We are working closely with the OCM and BioTrack to ensure a smooth and compliant transition for our dispensary customers. More Americans support legal cannabis than ever before - a record 88% 2. 47% of Americans have tried cannabis, 15% are active consumers 3. More women officially consume cannabis than men 4. 42% of Americans say legal cannabis makes the justice system more fair 5. 64% of consumers use cannabis to relax 6. There are approximately 440,445 full-time jobs supported by legal U.S. cannabis 7. The U.S. cannabis industry is expected to reach $45.3 billion in 2025 8. President Jimmy Carter watched the cannabis landscape change during his 100 years of life – and he was an ally to the plant for many of them. Hear Tick Segerblom, Chair of Nevada’s Clark County Commission, recount how he smoked in the White House during President Carter’s 1977-1981 administration. Carter made history during his 1976 Presidential campaign when he openly called for the decriminalization of cannabis.
