About us
Food with Roots is a small, Black, family-owned business located in Seattle, WA. Our products are a celebration of our heritage and homage to tradition. We reclaim the past and give it a new life through Chef-driven food and fashion straight from the Pacific Northwest. The Food with Roots started with Pimento Cheese and has grown into a food company showcasing flavors and ingredients from our culture. While running award-winning restaurants in Seattle, WA, the demand from our guests for our unique, delicious Southern staples outside of the restaurants continued and we listened.
