    As I reflect on this week, one word stands out: gratitude. Being an entrepreneur has been a whirlwind of challenges, growth, and excitement, and I’m deeply grateful for every moment. I’m grateful for the years I spent in the finance and technology spaces, where I built the skills, resilience, and mindset that laid a strong foundation for this new chapter. Those experiences prepared me to take on the unexpected, to navigate complex situations, and to dream bigger than I ever thought possible. I’m grateful for the early successes on this journey—the milestones, the partnerships, the new friendships and the opportunities to share my vision with others. Every win, no matter how small, is a reminder of why I started down this path in the first place. And most of all, I’m grateful for the long road ahead. Building something meaningful takes time, hard work, and perseverance, and I’m committed to giving it my all. There will be ups and downs, but I welcome them, knowing they’re part of the journey.     I’m not one to brag – unless it’s about someone else. I get so excited every time one of my clients or students get the recognition they deserve – and this The Wall Street Journal article featuring Kartik Das' doosra Indian chai-time snacks is no exception! Matthew Kronsberg is calling this the Year of the Snack and I couldn’t agree more. But with so much fierce competition, it’s rare to find brands that truly stand out. The ones that do, are doing it with unique flavors or unique takes on traditional treats. A few of my top top picks from the recent Specialty Food Association Summer Fancy Food Show are featured in this article alongside Doosra’s The Mix (which has become a must-have in my pantry): Captain Danny Pop Pop Rice - A way elevated version of corn Pops cereal I had as a kid, it's addictive in the best way. MMM Jerky - unlike any beef jerky you’ve tasted, it eats more like a potato chip or crispy bacon and packs a punch of flavor. ➡️ I’d also add a few other standouts: Balsnack International Holding Grand Potato Chips - think Pringles but shaped in long rectangles more suitable for a fancy cheese & charcuterie board. I brought home their wasabi flavor. S'NOODS noodle chips - Looks like pasta, but in chip form with flavors like Cavatappi Carbonara, Rigatoni Basil Pomodoro, and my personal favorite Spicy Miso Ramen. BARIS frozen chocolate covered raspberries - so simple, yet surprisingly stood out. Bite-sized better-for-you sweets that makes you think you’re eating ice cream bonbons, but without the guilt. Pastazerts chocolate ravioli - Exactly how it sounds…dessert pasta pockets filled with indulgent strawberry cheesecake, pb&j, fig, or peppermint.     Pastazerts was born when co-founders and husband and wife team Stephanie Berwick and Joel Rumpf sought to provide consumers with a special treat to enhance the dessert experience at home. The frozen chocolate ravioli brand launched in 2023 featuring a thin layer of chocolate dough with a cream cheese filling.
