Passport to Earning global programme has picked up another award! 🎉🏆 Thrilled to share that #AnthemAwards 2024 has recognized Passport to Earning, launched by UNICEF’s Generation Unlimited with support from partners like Microsoft and Accenture, with a Bronze Award in the Responsible Technology category. Passport to Earning helps bridge the learning-to-earning gap by providing free, world-class, job-relevant skills training for young people aged 15-24, to better position them to access employment and entrepreneurship opportunities in a rapidly changing global economy. Leveraging a digital platform powered by Microsoft Community Training and deployed in six countries (and counting!), the goal is to ensure no young person is left behind due to lack of access and receives an equal opportunity to thrive. It was truly a pleasure to deliver a keynote address at South Africa’s first #BeGreenAfrica Entrepreneur pitching event. The Netherlands is a proud of supporter of #BeGreenAfrica, nurturing a generation of green entrepreneurs and giving #SouthAfricanYouth an opportunity to invest their talents in the green economy— whether through developing renewable energy solutions or introducing sustainable farming techniques. #Dutch businesses, NGOs and government entities are already working with South Africa on issues that span across water management, renewable energy as well as climate-smart and sustainable agriculture. #BeGreenAfrica is yet another #cocreateSANL collaboration towards South Africa’s green economy. #BeGreenAfrica #GreenEntrepreneur #SkillsRightNow
