  • Dear Ulrike, dear Raiffeisen Bank International AG, our team thanks you for you continued support and collaboration over the years! This 16th conference has been a real turning point for us as we enter 2025 and the new era for #DruckerForum and Vienna Center for Management Innovation. Your unwavering commitment has played a significant role in the success of our conference in Vienna. Thank you for showing commitment to bring your managers not only from the #DACH region, but also from the Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans. Together, we’ve designed a learning program for your motivated employees. Also, we have created valuable connections, shared industry insights, and paved the way for future growth. 🎄 🤶 🎅 We look forward to many more years of successful partnership! Happy holidays! 😊

We are proud to be long-term partners of the Global Peter Drucker Forum, held annually at the HOFBURG Vienna. Our leaders are dedicated to staying ahead of the curve and engaging in meaningful conversations with top thinkers. 🙌 This year's theme, “The Next Knowledge Work: Managing for New Levels of Value Creation and Innovation,” provided a great opportunity to rethink work, leadership, and our relationships with others and ourselves. Our leaders engaged in insightful discussions on #leadership, #AI, and #education, and we were pleased to support our colleague, Iryna Arzner as she participated in a panel on upskilling and reskilling our workforce.  ✨ The key takeaway?  ⭐ Even as we move into an AI-driven world, the human element remains essential. We are transitioning from merely customer-centric to human-centric organizations.  These inspiring days have reinforced our commitment to investing in education and leadership development because we believe that great leaders make great teams. We feel encouraged to continue this path and drive innovation, create value and shape the future of the bank. 💛 Patrick Marek, Nika Kenda, Elena Filipidescu, Guadalupe Landa Rosas, Wolfgang Rachbaucher, Christina Unzeitig-Böck, Hanna Gruber #MakeItHappen

  • Thank you prof Manfred Kets de Vries, Oriane Kets de Vries and KDVI for the partnership during recent #DruckerForum. And Oriane, you captured so well some of key concepts that were discussed. Why psychological safety matters in top-performing organisations? How can team members protect each other with accountability from the corruptive power and the shortcomings of the Ring of Gyges? 😉 This article resonates with the work we’ve been doing in our team and with our community. Humans are indeed in the centre! Let's keep creating value in 2025! Happy reading in holidays' season. 🎁 🎁

  • Muito obrigado, Emergn team & Alex! 👏 Boa leitura - we are eager to be present more to thought leaders in the Portuguese language. Here is the article from Link to Leaders: https://lnkd.in/dTK7XVPs Feliz Natal and Feliz Ano Nuovo! 🎄 🤶 🎁

„Go for a walk with no goal, you will be surprised to discover how good you are." • Thank you for the insightful reading, Revista team! 💡 We are grateful that you captured the essence of Charles' ideas for the Spanish-speaking management community.

  • Many thanks, Tim! Charles' call for humanity resonates so well in these times of uncertainty. “Organizations are not machines,” and may in fact have a soul. “People are not human resources''. 😊 Good to have you as an ally on promoting his volume of work!

Charles Handy, who passed away on Friday, was one of the true greats. A business philosopher, a business humanist, a business romantic, he insisted that “organizations are not machines,” and may in fact have a soul. “People are not human resources,” he reminded us. Reading him was comforting. My first encounter with his work was an epiphany: There was more to it than just numbers and charts. Business was in the business of meaning-making! His 1989 book “The Age of Unreason,” and 1994's "The Age of Paradox," in which he predicted "discontinuous change," that is, massive technological and social disruption at unprecedented scale, proved to be clairvoyant – as so many of his concepts, from the portfolio career, to federal organizations, companies as communities with purpose, experiential learning, remote work, outsourcing, and the gig economy. He didn’t want to be prescriptive and considered himself a mere observer, but his “observations” have shaped today’s (and tomorrow’s) management and organizational culture much more profoundly than the frameworks of so many management gurus. “We cannot wait for great visions from great people, for they are in short supply. It is up to us to light our own small fires in the darkness.” RIP Charles Handy Ps. This 2003 profile of his in Strategy + Business is still a great read: https://lnkd.in/eKnjk7Kj And watch his closing keynote from the 2017 Global Peter Drucker Forum: https://lnkd.in/eRMicUTx #management #workplace #culture
