Last week my colleagues represented GRASS CEILING Project at Werkplaats Network Platteland in Den Bosch. Over 170 stakeholders from the agricultural sector attended this fascinating conference where the theme was: ‘Connected and resilient agriculture; the future of the farmer’. Bettina Bock ran a workshop alongside one of the ladies in our Dutch Living Lab, Marloes, whose innovative project is focusing on how to get more women participating in policymaking. Together they presented the work that is happening within Grass Ceiling and Marloes van Schaik used this opportunity to reach a wider audience. The workshop was a big success with 17 participants among which many policymakers who were interested to learn more about the projects and the recommendations on how to better support women innovators in policy and practice. It was also a delight that another one of the Living Lab ladies, Sonja van Uden, was attending the conference for her own project needs. These network and knowledge sharing days are essential to keep things moving forward. Many thanks to Werkplaats Network Platteland for organising yet another great event and for enabling these discussions to take place. #GrassCeiling #womensupportingwomen #EUHorizon #InvestInWomen #Innovation #Impact #womeninagri #starttheconversation #breakingbarriers
