I am very happy to share that last week I successfully defended my masters thesis, titled "Occurrence and Fate of Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) in Atmospheric Deposition, Surface Waters, and Sediments Discharging to the Great Bay Estuary, New Hampshire" and will be graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering this December. Thank you to my advisor, Dr. Paula Mouser, and to the rest of my thesis committee: Dr. Adam Wymore, and Dr. Anne Lightbody, for their support and feedback during my research. I am so grateful to have had the support of many great faculty and peers during my time at UNH, both as an undergraduate and as a grad student. I am also excited to share that I have accepted a full-time position at GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. as an Engineer I in the Bedford, NH office. I have spent several summers interning at the Meredith and Bedford GZA offices and am excited to return full-time to begin my postgraduate career!

Mattapoisett Bogs - 55 acres of formerly farmed cranberry bogs have been restored back to natural wetlands. This Buzzards Bay Coalition conservation area is now officially re-open! 🍁I have been personally working on this project since 2011 and it’s so satisfying when construction is done. The most rewarding moments are watching nature heal after the earth-moving equipment has removed the scars and re-shaped the land, and then seeing people’s joy as they explore the new trails through the oasis. 🌱🐢☀️🦆💦 It takes a team of great people to make it happen. We’re excited to announce that the Davis Center at Williams College has won a BUILT Design Award for Architectural Design! 🏆 This 25,800sf renovation and expansion seamlessly blends a new, dynamic addition with the existing Rice and Jenness Houses. The design features a civic-scaled glazed ground floor, a folded roofscape inspired by surrounding mountains, and a charred wood facade symbolizing resilience. The Davis Center is net-zero, pursuing ILFI Living Building Challenge certification, and incorporates sustainable systems and materials throughout.
