HY Architects is excited to share the progress on our design for the Fairmont Site/Central Kitchen for Vacaville Unified School District. This cutting-edge facility features 12,000 SF space with 9,000 SF dedicated to food production, specialized areas for fresh protein and vegetable prep, advanced cold storage, large capacity racks, state-of-the-art cooking equipment including an ozone air cleansing system and efficient loading dock layout for intake and delivery of cooked meals. A previous project, the Hansen Family Health Center was crafted in collaboration with CommuniCare Health Centers and embodied a holistic well-being. With a service-centric design, including separate entrances for various healthcare needs, from primary care to behavioral health, we prioritized convenience and privacy. From the dental clinic's four exam stations to harmonious integration with the site's natural landscape, every aspect of this facility reflects our commitment to excellence, sustainability, and community resilience. Together, we were not just building a center; we're honoring lives and celebrating health, one appointment at a time.
