At the invitation of The Chamber of Catawba County County, HKY4Vets Co-Founder Nathan Huret had the honor of speaking to this year’s Leadership Catawba class about tapping into underrepresented talent pools and the unique barriers some groups face in finding meaningful employment. Nathan highlighted the challenges veterans and their spouses often encounter—moving from an environment where every aspect of their lives was structured, to suddenly navigating a job search on their own. It’s a journey that can feel isolating, and it’s a big reason why HKY4Vets exists—to help smooth that transition and create opportunities for success. Today’s event also allowed us to shine a spotlight on one of our own success stories: Adam S., our Director of Operations.
