On October 3, 2024, students from Dimmitt Middle School visited SiteCrafting for an engaging Field Trip focused on marketing and digital strategy. The students were hosted by SiteCrafting’s team, who guided them through various hands-on activities and introduced them to the world of digital design and branding. After the event, one 8th-grade student shared, “It was empowering to know that almost half of the workforce here is made up of women and that women lead much of the organization. On September 9th, IGNITE Worldwide hosted a day of in-person Panel events at Paschal Sherman Indian School, reaching students across grades K-9. The panels featured professionals from a range of industries, offering students valuable insights into different career paths and personal journeys. The events also marked the first of IGNITE Worldwide's expansion efforts into tribal schools in Washington. After the events, one 9th-grade student shared, "This event showed me that the possibilities are endless." On Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, Lakota Middle School in Federal Way, WA, brought together 31 IGNITE Students for a Panel featuring two young STEM Professionals. Panelists shared their journeys to their present careers and answered students’ thoughtful and introspective questions about those paths. After the event, one 8th-grade student shared, “Today’s event inspired me because I was very hesitant about whether or not I wanted to go into STEM because I thought I was not smart enough to do so.
