In our mission to raise the next generation of tech innovators in Nigeria, we had the incredible opportunity to host students from Dansol Christian Mission High School at the Microsoft African Development Center, Lagos, where they got hands-on with 3D printing and interacted with the Microsoft generation AI, CoPilot. The students had an unforgettable learning experience that sparked their curiosity and creativity. At Innovia Labs - Deep Tech R&D, Prototyping & Venture Studio, we are always at the heart of innovation and STEM education, and it is always a pleasure to inspire young minds to think beyond the limits. #innovialabs #techeducation #futureInnovators #stem #stemlearning #stemeducation #3dprinting #artificialintelligence #talentdevelopment

We are thrilled to announce that Mujiya Grid Systems, one of our AI-powered solutions, achieved 2nd and 3rd places in two different programs in two African countries, last week. Mujiya Grid Systems is an anti-poaching, anti-kidnapping, anti-banditry wide area perimeter intrusion system to predict, deter and combat nefarious activities. We achieved dual recognition, securing 3rd place as the Best Robotics Design Category at the Inaugural African Youth in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Competition, facilitated by the ElevateAI team for Youth in ICT at the 8th Tanzania Annual ICT Conference in Dar es Salaam, and 2nd place at the NIGERIAN COMMUNICATIONS SATELLITE LIMITED (NIGCOMSAT) Accelerator program during the Nigerian Satellite Week in Abuja. We are deeply honored and grateful for the recognition of our work at Innovia Labs - R&D, Prototyping, Deep Tech., Venture Studio and we remain dedicated to driving the growth of the hardware and deep tech ecosystem in Africa. #innovialabs #hardwaremanufacturing #deeptech #innovation #elevateai #artificialintelligence #robotics #nigerianSatelliteWeek #nigcomsataccelerator #Innovationinspace

Have you ever been in the middle of a print, only to watch it become a tangled mess? You're not alone. We've all been there - the frustration, the wasted hours, and the failed prints. But what if you could identify and fix these issues before they happen? Here are 5 common issues that can hinder your 3D printing experience, and how to troubleshoot them. 1. Warping When a printed object curls or bends due to uneven cooling or inadequate adhesion, warping is said to have occurred. To solve this, adjust bed leveling and temperature settings, use adhesion promoters (like glue) and ensure proper cooling. 2. Under-Extrusion Under-extrusion occurs when the printed object has gaps or incomplete layers due to insufficient filament flow. This can be corrected by checking and adjusting temperature settings, ensuring proper extruder calibration and increasing flow rate or pressure. 3. Stringing Sometimes, excess filament is deposited between objects or layers, causing stringing. To ensure a better 3d print experience, adjust retraction speed and distance, lower temperature settings and use retraction-enabled filament. 4. Layer Shifting When layers are misaligned due to incorrect belt tension or stepper motor calibration, there is an issue of layer shifting. To ensure more quality prints, check and adjust belt tension, recalibrate stepper motors and ensure proper frame alignment. 5. Clogged Nozzle Clogged nozzles occur when debris accumulates, blocking filament flow. Regularly cleaning nozzles with maintenance kits, using quality filaments and avoiding extreme temperature fluctuations are ways to correct this. To minimize 3D printing issues, regularly calibrate and maintain your printer, optimize print settings for specific materials, monitor temperature and humidity levels and use quality filaments and materials. What is your go-to troubleshooting tip for 3D printing issues? #3dprinting #3dprinter #3dprint #3dart #additivemanufacturing #innovation #3dprintingtips #3dprintinghelp #3dprintingproblems #manufacturing #troubleshooting
