About us

INSPIRING ERA is a new EU Horizon Europe project that aims to support and promote the successful implementation of the ERA Policy Agenda for the period December 2023 - November 2026. The project is carried out by governmental RDI organisations, 6 of them from Austria, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Sweden as consortium members and 2 others from Slovenia and Malta as contributing partners. Close and regular cooperation with the European Commission, the ERA Forum and the emerging ERA Policy Platform is central to the overall approach of INSPIRING ERA, in particular to seek synergies to strengthen dissemination, exploitation and communication activities and to ensure an optimal flow of information. The main objectives of the INSPIRING ERA project are to • Provide an information hub on the ERA policy agenda and a point of contact for Member States, Associated Countries and stakeholders. • Build a community of ERA practitioners supporting mutual learning and exchange of good practices to support the joint implementation of the ERA Policy Agenda. • Communicate lessons learned and results from the implementation of the ERA Actions. • Facilitate interaction, exchange and mutual learning through a programme of workshops and events. • Develop policy recommendations and guidelines on how best to implement institutional changes related to ERA policies. The Inspiring ERA project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement No.101131556.
