🚀 Driving innovation and sustainability in the entrepreneurial ecosystem 🌱💡 At #INTEGER, we are actively committed to promoting sustainable and inclusive innovation. We strive to ensure that our solutions not only address current societal needs but also contribute to a more sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem. We are pleased to share key insights from the 2023 Entrepreneurship Map by South Summit in collaboration with IE University, highlighting the impact of innovation and sustainability: 🌿 Green Business ranks as the fourth most popular industry, representing a notable 5% of new startups. 🤖 Artificial Intelligence has established itself as a key tool, integrated into the processes of up to 25% of startups, surpassing even mobile applications. 💼 Entrepreneurs’ preferred industries include fintech, education, and healthcare. This strategic inclusion of innovation and sustainability in various Spanish projects has resulted in the average age of Spanish startups in 2023 reaching 3.12 years, compared to 2.2 years in 2019. In terms of analysis and outlook, prominent leaders praise the maturity of the Spanish entrepreneurial ecosystem and emphasize the crucial role of innovation and talent in this exciting journey. 👏🌍 🔗For more information and relevant data: https://lnkd.in/dPHAXVTf Carina Dantas, Natália Machado, Inês Saavedra, Joana Vieira - SHINE 2Europe Rafael Nualart, Fàtima C., Marcos Doespiritusanto Gallego, Marta Martorell Camps, Mària Sanchez Moreno - i2CAT Willeke Van Staalduinen, Javier Ganzarain, Jonas Bernitt - AFEdemy, age-friendly environments academy Lina Silveira - F6S Xavier Camara-Turull, Rebeca Martín, Mar Joanpere Foraster, Mercedes Teruel - Universitat Rovira i Virgili Kai Schnackenberg, Rachel Stenner - Freie und Hansestadt Hamburg, Monika Machowska, Agnieszka Wlodarczyk, Agnieszka Podkowa - Krakowski Park Technologiczny | Krakow Technology Park, Uniwersytet Jagielloński w Krakowie Anna Szczucka

Today I was presenting my lump sum experience in the SIRENE and INTEGER - Interconnecting 4 Helix Innovation Ecosystems in European Regions projects at the webinar on Legal and Financial Aspects of #HorizonEurope, promoted by AICIB - Agência de Investigação Clínica e Inovação Biomédica. Around 500 participants asked really several questions to the panel of moderators and speakers that included Alexandre Manuel Ferreira Marques, Ana Li and Maria Joao Fernandes. Many relevant points to understand better how to work with lump sums and unit costs in projects, also available in Youtube, if you missed it: https://lnkd.in/d3-wE-nH SHINE 2Europe

💡Yesterday, we held the closing session of the #INTEGER project's social-digital incubation and mentoring program, where some of the projects from the #Catalonia region shared their progress and learnings. 🔑 Throughout these sessions, the projects successfully shifted their focus, steering their message towards clearer, more solution-oriented approaches. They concentrated on identifying potential clients, refining their communication strategies, detecting key needs, and advancing in critical negotiations. 📊 Significant progress was also made in clarifying the financial and economic status of the projects. This allowed them to recognize their capacity to cover essential costs, such as hiring staff, to continue growing and ensuring sustainability. 💪 A key learning has been the importance of securing recurring revenue through service sales. Although social impact remains their main objective, financial viability is essential for the long-term survival of the projects. ⚙️ Over the course of five sessions, the projects have worked with tools such as #SWOT, #CAME, #Balanced #Scorecard, and #economic #planning. Thanks to their hard work between sessions, they have matured significantly, moving towards autonomy and self-sustainability. 👏 Congratulations to all the participants for their incredible progress, and a big thanks to the mentors for their support.
