We have seen a 46% increase in fake resumes at Intervue.io. There are more than 700,000,000 resumes on the job boards we use; this is where we are headed: 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝-𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬 → 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬 When each book was hand-written, you could see the skills of the person who wrote it. After the printing press, every book looked the same, and way to gauge If the book is good now, depends more on substance than hand-writing. 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 → 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 Memorized speeches once showed real talent. With teleprompters, everyone sounds equally polished, making it hard to tell who’s genuinely skilled. Similarly, 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐬 → 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐆𝐏𝐓 A year ago, resume quality used to be a factor to filter candidates. Now, with a quick ChatGPT prompt, anyone can produce the most desirable resume. Products/ATS features that filter resumes using AI are redundant/dead.
