  • "If you’re like most people, you haven’t spent much time thinking about how the electricity markets work. But it’s time to pay attention. After decades of flat electricity load growth, we are entering a super-cycle of increasing demand, setting the stage for rapidly increasing electricity prices in household utility bills. " Check out the latest piece in Fast Company from our CEO Andrew Meyer on how a broken system is failing us - and where we need to go next. 💡 ⚡ https://lnkd.in/gjdXgzCi

We are thrilled to introduce Ha Vu to the Arbor team! Ha is a full-stack software engineer with a deep passion for addressing the climate crisis. After spending the past few years at Sidewalk Labs and Google, where she helped cities design more sustainable neighborhoods, Ha has developed expertise in optimization techniques, building modeling, and renewable energy. At Arbor, Ha is eager to continue her climate journey by working to align consumer energy choices with the planet’s needs—an objective that perfectly complements Arbor’s mission to revolutionize energy decision-making. Having lived in seven cities across three continents, Ha brings a global perspective to her work. Fun fact: despite all her travels, she still hasn’t learned to drive, making her a true urban enthusiast! Outside of work, Ha enjoys biking around Greater Boston, organizing climate actions, and struggling (by her own admission) to write genre fiction. Welcome to the team, Ha! We’re excited to have you on board and can’t wait to see the impact you’ll make.
